Barrack Point is a small seaside locality in the City of Shellharbour in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, situated on the coast between Warilla to the north and Shellharbour village to the south. With a population of 725 at the 2021 census, the locality covers just 0.43 square kilometres of coastal headland and beach fringe. Barrack Point is part of the broader Shellharbour urban area, approximately 85 kilometres south of Sydney and 15 kilometres south of Wollongong. It falls within the federal electorate of Whitlam and the NSW state electorate of Shellharbour.
