Bellellen is a small rural locality in western Victoria, situated approximately 250 kilometres west of Melbourne near the town of Stawell in the Northern Grampians Shire. The locality covers around 18 square kilometres and recorded a population of approximately 59 residents at the 2021 Census. The area features the agricultural country between the Grampians National Park to the south and the Wimmera plains to the north, used for sheep grazing and cereal cropping.
Stawell, approximately 10 kilometres to the north, provides local services including a hospital, schools, supermarkets, and community facilities, and is known for the Stawell Gift — Australia's most prestigious professional sprint race held each Easter. The Grampians National Park, a significant natural and cultural heritage site, is immediately to the south. A private vehicle is essential as no public transport serves Bellellen.
