About Bells Creek
Bells Creek is a small rural locality on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, situated approximately 9 kilometres south-west of Caloundra and around 88 kilometres north of Brisbane, within the Sunshine Coast Region local government area. With a population of 343, the locality covers roughly 25 square kilometres and sits adjacent to several of the Sunshine Coast's fastest-growing new communities, including Baringa and the broader Aura development corridor. Despite the rapid growth occurring nearby, Bells Creek itself retains a quieter, semi-rural residential character.
Bells Creek residents benefit from excellent proximity to Caloundra's beaches, shopping centres, and services, as well as the expanding retail and community infrastructure of the Aura development. The Bruce Highway and Sunshine Motorway provide good road connections north to Noosa and Maroochydore, and south to Brisbane. The locality is popular with families and owner-occupiers seeking affordable land in a well-connected Sunshine Coast position, within easy reach of coastal amenities and major employment centres.
Bells Creek falls under postcode 4551 and is governed by the local council Council (LGA). For state elections, residents vote in the Kawana electorate.
