Boonara is a small rural locality in the South Burnett region of Queensland, situated approximately 250 kilometres north-west of Brisbane near the town of Murgon. The area is part of the South Burnett agricultural district known for beef cattle, grain sorghum, and some of Queensland's emerging wine production.
