Bylong is a remote rural locality in the Upper Hunter region of New South Wales, located approximately 200 kilometres north-west of Sydney and around 55 kilometres south of Mudgee. Covering roughly 133 square kilometres of undulating valley country along the Bylong Valley Way, it recorded a population of around 19 people in the 2021 Census.
