Conimbia is a remote rural locality in the Coonamble Shire of central-western New South Wales, located approximately 80 kilometres north-west of Coonamble and 570 kilometres north-west of Sydney. With a population of just 30 people spread across an enormous 583 square kilometres, the area is one of the most sparsely populated localities in the state, dominated by broad dryland farming country and semi-arid scrubland typical of the Darling Plains.
