Corinella is a small coastal town on the eastern shore of Western Port Bay, located 114 kilometres southeast of Melbourne in the Bass Coast Shire. With just over 1,100 residents, this historic settlement holds the distinction of being one of Victoria's earliest European settlementsβFort Dumaresq was established here in 1826, two years before Melbourne. The town occupies a scenic peninsula with panoramic views across to French Island and Phillip Island.
