About Exeter
Exeter is a quiet residential suburb on Adelaide's Lefevre Peninsula, 14 kilometres northwest of the CBD in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. With a population of around 1,100, this small community is bordered by the popular beach suburb of Semaphore and the port precinct of Birkenhead. The suburb was named after founder John Lapthorne's hometown of Exeter in Devon, England.

The historic Hotel Lord Exmouth remains a local landmark. Residents enjoy excellent train connectivity via Glanville and Peterhead stations on the Outer Harbor line, providing fast access to Adelaide CBD. While commercial activity is limited locally, Port Adelaide's shops and services are just across the river, and Semaphore Road offers boutique shopping and dining.
