Forbes Creek is a small rural locality in the Queanbeyan-Palerang Region of New South Wales, situated in the Southern Tablelands approximately 50 kilometres east of Canberra and 25 kilometres north of Braidwood. Covering around 39 square kilometres, the area recorded a population of 62 at the 2021 Census. The locality lies in the wooded slopes and valleys of the ranges between the ACT border and the Shoalhaven headwaters, characterised by mixed farming, lifestyle properties, and native bush.
