Howqua Inlet is a small lakeside locality in Victoria's High Country, situated on the shores of Lake Eildon approximately 15 kilometres south of Mansfield within the Mansfield Shire. Covering nearly 6 square kilometres, the area recorded a population of 63 at the 2021 Census. The locality sits at the mouth of the Howqua River as it enters Lake Eildon, one of Victoria's largest reservoirs, and is renowned as a premier boating, fishing, and camping destination in the Victorian Alps foothills.
