Kumbia is a small rural town and locality in the South Burnett Region of Queensland, situated on the Bunya Highway approximately 22 kilometres south-west of Kingaroy and 222 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. With a population of 301 people recorded in the 2021 Census, it is a quiet agricultural community spread across nearly 70 square kilometres of mixed farming land. The area falls within the South Burnett Regional Council and has a low population density typical of the region's rural localities.
Kumbia is known for its stone-fruit plantations and its proximity to the Bunya Mountains, making it a stop along the Bunya Highway tourist route.
