About Midvale

Midvale is an eastern suburb of Perth in Western Australia, split between the City of Swan and the Shire of Mundaring, approximately 25 kilometres from the Perth CBD. With a population of around 2,300 that grew significantly (52.8%) between 2016 and 2021, it is one of Perth's emerging growth suburbs. Originally developed in the early 1950s, the suburb was named as a composite of nearby Midland and the former Helena Vale Racecourse.

Midvale offers affordable housing options in Perth's eastern corridor, with convenient access to the Midland Gate Shopping Centre and Midland town centre for retail and services. The suburb is popular with individuals, couples, and young families, with local schools including Midvale Primary School and nearby St Anthony's School.
