Mount Edwards is a small rural locality in South East Queensland, situated approximately 65 kilometres south-west of Brisbane near the town of Boonah in the Scenic Rim. The locality covers around 14 square kilometres and recorded a population of approximately 60 residents at the 2021 Census. It is set in the scenic volcanic landscape of the Main Range, featuring rolling hills, lush farming properties, and remnant rainforest typical of the Scenic Rim hinterland.
Boonah, approximately 10 kilometres to the north, provides local services including shops, a small hospital, schools, and community facilities. The Scenic Rim is an increasingly popular lifestyle region, offering stunning landscapes, farm gates, boutique wineries, and proximity to Lamington National Park and Main Range National Park.
