About Queens Park

Queens Park is a multicultural suburban community located 11 kilometres south-east of the Perth CBD, within the City of Canning. With a population of approximately 7,268 residents, it has grown steadily in recent years, attracting diverse families and young professionals. Originally known as Woodlupine, the suburb was renamed in honour of Queen Alexandra in 1911. The Westfield Carousel shopping centre in nearby Cannington provides extensive retail options, while local parks and the Queens Park Bushland reserve offer opportunities for nature walks and wildlife spotting. The suburb has a strong multicultural community with English, Chinese, Indian, Nepali, and Filipino heritage groups well represented. The Queens Park Football Club and Lions Club provide community sporting and social activities.
