Terang is a rural service town in the Corangamite Shire of south-western Victoria, situated on the Princes Highway approximately 215 kilometres south-west of Melbourne and 48 kilometres north-east of Warrnambool. With a population of around 2,254 residents, it serves as a key agricultural centre for the rich dairy-farming district of the Corangamite region.
