Braybrook is an inner-western suburb of Melbourne, located just 9 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Maribyrnong. With a population of 9,682 at the 2021 census, it is a culturally diverse suburb bounded by the Maribyrnong River to the north and Ballarat Road to the south. Historically a working-class area, Braybrook has undergone significant gentrification in recent years.
