About Dunsborough
Dunsborough is a coastal resort town in Western Australia's South West region, located 254 kilometres south of Perth on the shores of Geographe Bay. With a population of approximately 7,200, it is part of the City of Busselton and sits at the gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region. The area was known to the Wardandi people as Quedjinup, meaning "Place of Women". The modern town was named after Dunn Bay, which honors Captain Richard Dalling Dunn.
Voted WA's best tourist destination, Dunsborough offers pristine beaches, world-class wineries, and boutique shopping. The town provides easy access to Meelup Regional Park, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, and the Cape to Cape Track. The HMAS Swan dive wreck offshore is a popular attraction. Annual events include the CinefestOZ film festival and Dunsborough Arts Festival.
