Jerrawangala is a small rural locality on the South Coast of New South Wales, situated approximately 180 kilometres south of Sydney near the town of Nowra in the Shoalhaven district. The locality covers around 95 square kilometres and recorded a population of approximately 60 residents at the 2021 Census. The area is characterised by coastal hinterland bushland, remnant escarpment forest, and small rural properties in the southern Shoalhaven Shire.
Nowra-Bomaderry, approximately 30 kilometres to the north, serves as the main service centre for the Shoalhaven, providing hospitals, schools, major retail, and NSW TrainLink rail connections to Sydney. The surrounding area is popular for bushwalking, horseriding, and rural lifestyle, with the scenic Jervis Bay region accessible to the east.
