Koppamurra is a small rural locality in the South East region of South Australia, situated approximately 330 kilometres south-east of Adelaide near the town of Bordertown. The locality covers around 93 square kilometres and recorded a population of approximately 60 residents at the 2021 Census. The area features the open pastoral country of the Tatiara district, known for prime merino wool and sheep meat production near the Victorian border.
Bordertown, approximately 30 kilometres to the east, provides the main services for the Tatiara district including a hospital, schools, supermarkets, and is also known as the home town of former Prime Minister Bob Hawke.
