With a population of around 3,100 and an area of only 0.84 square kilometres, it is an intimate residential enclave bordering the expansive Centennial Parklands. The suburb takes its name from Queen's Park, the heritage-listed urban park that forms its southern boundary. It is characterised by tree-lined streets, period homes, and a strong sense of community.
Queens Park offers a highly sought-after lifestyle combining inner-city convenience with green open spaces. Residents enjoy direct access to Queen's Park and Centennial Park for jogging, cycling, and horse riding. Bondi Junction's Westfield shopping centre is just a short walk north, while Bondi Beach and Bronte Beach are within easy reach. The suburb features a mix of elegant Federation-era homes, Art Deco apartments, and modern townhouses. Young professionals, established families, and downsizers are attracted by the village atmosphere, excellent schools, and proximity to some of Sydney's best beaches.
Queens Park falls under postcode 2022 and is governed by the Waverley Council (Local Government Area). For federal elections, residents vote in the electorate of Wentworth, while state elections fall under the Coogee electorate.
