Yelgun is a small rural locality in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, nestled in the Tweed shire approximately 20 kilometres north of Byron Bay and close to the Queensland border. Yelgun is perhaps best known regionally as the location of the M1 Pacific Motorway rest stop that bears its name.
