Kanpi is a small remote community in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands of northern South Australia, situated approximately 950 kilometres north-west of Adelaide. With a 2021 Census population of 56 residents, it is an Aboriginal community in the far north-west of South Australia near the Western Australian border. The locality is within the vast arid landscape of the APY Lands, characterised by red sand dunes, spinifex grasslands, and low desert scrub.
