Murra Warra is a small rural locality in north-west Victoria, situated in the Hindmarsh Shire on the Wimmera plains approximately 30 kilometres north-west of Horsham. Covering around 151 square kilometres, the area recorded a population of 63 at the 2021 Census. The locality lies in the heart of the Victorian Wimmera, one of Australia's premier wheat and grain-producing regions, characterised by flat to gently undulating farmland and open skies stretching to the horizon.
The Wimmera is famous for its grain production, with wheat, barley, canola, and chickpeas grown across vast paddocks in the region.
